Stampin' Up! Retired Items

Do you have Stampin' Up! products that are retired that you are ready to part with?  Are you wanting to declutter, and make room for new and current products?  Would you like to be able to sell your retired product? Would you like to shop for some retired product that you are looking for?

OPEN HOUSE

We have just returned from our trip to Orlando, and I wanted to be sure everyone who lives locally is invited to my Stampin' Up! Open House this weened!  The hours are:  Friday, May 11, from 2-6 p.m., and Saturday, May 12, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.  There is no charge to make all the projects, but I do need to know you are coming, so everything can be prepared for you!  The Open House is held in my patio at our home in Placentia.  Please email me to let me know by Wednesday, May 16, if you would like to attend! Orlando!

After our fabulous Stampin' Up! Walt Disney World vacation, we still have more vacation time left!  Our daughter, Rachel, and her husband, Andrew, live here in Orlando, and Andrew even works for WDW! They came to the resort to pick us up and bring us to their home.  

Since they just got married last September, it is a joy to be with them and see them married and in their home.  They have been gracious hosts.  Andrew is a great cook!  

Rachel arranged for us to take a fun swamp tour on an airboat!  It was so great!

We were looking for gators!  Cap'n Rick took us to a cove where he knew that a mama alligator had recently had babies.... and there they were!

These babies are about six weeks old.  We saw about 6-8 of them.  The mama was close by, but we weren't able to get a picture of her. 

It was a great adventure, and a great day!

 

 

 

 

 

Last Disney Day!

We spent our last Disney day at the Animal Kingdom.  We enjoyed the long and colorful Animal parade.

We got to see a few shows, and then had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe.

We took the boat back to the resort to get ready for our final night event.  We boarded the buses and were take to the back lot of the Hollywood Studios.  We walked across the park a bit and ended up at the Indiana Jones stunt show.  They picked some demonstrators from the crowd to be stunt doubles!  It was a fun show.  

After the show, Shelli gave some announcements, and then, all of a sudden, the show backdrop parted, and there were the cast members, setting up our dinner!

We had a lovely buffet dinner, and then the entertainment started!  Belly dancers! They were a big hit!

Upon return to the resort, I found another pillow gift on my bed!  

The rose on this gift is amazing!  it is huge, and made with cardstock and designer paper! Beautiful!

And inside?  A lovely canvas painting done by Thomas Kincaide, with Snow White in the painting!

It was a great time with Stampin' Up!  All because I am a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, and have the best customers ever!  Thank you Stampin' Up! Thank you dear customers!

 

 

Disney World - Great Friends!

One of the best things about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is all the great friends I have made.  I remember when I first signed up to become a demo, I told my upline, Katy, that I didn't need any more friends!  Well.. I am so happy for all the great people I have met!  I didn't get pictures of all my buddies, but I did get a few!

Tiffany Bauer was Rising Star #1 when I was Rising Star #2.  She lives in Indiana and is a great demonstrator, and so very creative!

Shelli Gardner is the Co-Founder and CEO of Stampin' Up! Shelli is such a gracious and kind person.  It is always great to see her!

This is my good friend Heather Summers from Canada.  Heather is an amazing demonstrator and mother of four children.  Every Incentive trip she brings a different child.  For this trip,her 5 year old son Nathan got to come! You cannot believe what a fabulous time he had.. and how tired Heather was!  See all those pins around his neck?  He told me about each one, and how he got them, and who he traded with! When Heather asked him to take our picture, I wasn't so sure.. but he did a great job... just had kind of a low angle!

Kari Metzger is from Canda, and was a Rising Star the same year I was.  She has been a dear friend.  I am so sad she is leaving Stampin' Up!  She is joining forces with her husband in his business.  Hugs to you Kari!  I will miss you!

This is Lee Ann Greff, from North Dakota.  It was great to get to know her and her husband this trip!  She is one amazing demonstrator!  

What a bonus it is to make such great friends!  Just think.. if YOU became a demonstrator, you could have friends all over the US and Canada also!  FUN!

Disney World.. Day 3

We went to Hollywood Studios on Day 3!  

SO MUCH FUN.  We went to see the Beauty and the Beast show.  Beauty and the Beast is my all time favorite show.  I love the music, the story, and the costumes.  I love it when the dishes and silverware dance!  It was a great show!

We saw several other shows, and then had dinner at the Hollywood Borwn Derby restaurant.  

Such yummy food!  Cobb salad, and then... grapefruit cake!  A Brown Derby speciality!

And when I asked if the chef shared the recipes, look what I got!

We got back to the resort just in time for Share Night.  Swapping cards, and desserts!  How cute is this table decoration!

And! Guess what else?  Stampin' Up! gave us the new catalog!  YIPPPEEE!  It is fabulous!  I cannot show it to you, or tell you anything about it.. except you are going to LOVE IT!

It was a great day!

 

 

Disney World.. Days 2 and 3!

Hey There!  SO sorry for not posting last night! I was having some camera issues, and finally gave up! Let's see if I can get around those issues tonight!

Yesterday was a day of catching up on sleep, seeing old friends, making new ones, finishing my 27 swaps, and having a wonderful dinner.  Our pillow gifts were some darling cups and a cute visor, and Mark even got a Stampin' Up! shirt!  How fun was that!

We also spun the wheel and i got an amazing gift!  It is something lovely in this box.... from the new catalog!  It is a fabulous gift for a quilter!!!  I can't show it to you now, but you are going to LOVE it when you see it in the new catalog! (which, by the way, you will see on June 1!)

Today, after sleeping in a bit, we had lunch and then boarded the boat to take us from the Boardwalk across the lake to Epcot Center. 

Epcot was wonderful, and warm!  There is a floral and garden show there this week... fabulous!

It was so fun for my husband, Mark, with his degree and interest in botany, to see these amazing plants.

We made a stop by Great Britain!

Back at the resort, we stopped by the Stampin' Up! Hospitality room for we could spin the wheel!

And then, we met some new friends, Lee Ann and her husband from North Dakota, at the Kouzinna (means "kitchen" in Greek) restaurant here on the Boardwalk.  It is a restaurant created and owned by Iron Chef Cat Cora.  We actually ate there last night and enjoyed it so much, we wanted to return.  We had seen the Greffs there last night, and when we saw them tonight, there were hoping to return there.. so while I was spinning the wheel, they went and got a table.  We had a great time with them!  It's alwasy fun to make new Demonstrator friends from around the country!

Tonight for dinner I had one of the wonderful appetizers made with goat cheese, and a delightful salad made with Feta Cheese and lots of olives.  YUM YUM.

And then, back to our room.. for another pillow gift!  A cute back pack!  FUN!

So, now we are caught up!  I am off to bed.. so so tired!  See you tomorrow!

Disney World ~ We're here!

What a great and exhausting day!  I got just 1 1/2 hours sleep last night before getting up at 4 to be at LAX by 5 a.m... our United flight left on time at 7:10 a.m.  Once we landed in Orlando, we took the "Disney Magical Express" bus to our resort, the Boardwalk... fabulous!  HUGE!  Beautiful.  

We have some fun pillow arrangements in our room!

I got to see so many dear friends tonight as we walked and ate dinner out on the Boardwalk.  It was graet to see my dear friend Stella from northern California.

And just look at the amazing and fabulous pillow gift we got tonight!  A Disney bag with our name on it, in the very fun "Disney" logo!  And full of yummy Disney goodies!
