Christmas Class
Craft Your Christmas Retreat

Happy Anniversary to Me!

On July 31, 2006, I signed up to become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator! I never intended to teach classes, have Open Houses, or retreats, or clubs.. I just signed up for the discount!  But I had seen a project that I really liked, and I wanted to share it with a few friends... so I did, and by the end of August I had sold $1200 worth of product, and put $240 in our joint checking account.  I was so surprised and delighted that I had been able to do that, and I was loving all the benefits of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!  In April I called Stampin' Up!  and asked what I would need to do to earn the cruise to Bermuda... and I did!  I set a record with the company for earning it earlier than anyone before me.  What a great time we had when Mark and I cruised to Bermuda!

So, on July 31, it will be my eleven year anniversary!  It's time to celebrate!

Would you like to win this blog candy?  Here's what you can win...a Christmas stamp set, "Pines and Poinsettias"; "Suite Sentiments" stamp set; "Serene Scenery" 6"x 6" Designer Series Paper Stack; Silver Satin Ribbon Spool; and Two Tone Natural and Old Olive Ribbon.

Just leave a comment below, sharing how we met!

On July 31, I'll draw a winner!

Ruth, you & I met at Mothers Day Out. You were the BEST mentor Mom there.
This was when Nicholas was 3 or 4 years old & now he is 13. I have enjoyed the many years we have spent together. Thank you, Delorita

Well, of course I knew you long before SU! Was it VBS or SuperBook Olympics?? Whatever you were doing it, it was fun to do it with you - so when you took the leap to being a demonstrator, I was IN!
Hugs and happy anniversary!

Happy Anniversary friend! Yes, it was a long time ago, probably at SuperBook Olympics. We had so much fun! Then we were in a stamping group together and the rest is history!
Love you Ruthie!

Happy Anniversary, we met at your Christmas retreat. That got me hooked on Stampinup. Having a great time making cards. Thanks to you.

Happy Anniversary, Ruth! I met you my dear friend Andrea. She talked about you for years and I am so happy to finally know you! You bring joy to me and so many people. Thank you!

Happy Stampinaversary! You and I first met when I attended a card class at Rebecca's house. Not too long after that I became addicted to Stampin' Up. Love your creativity and ideas! Thank you!

I met you when you came to Rossmoor Brethren School to work in kindergarten with me! I'll never forget how in awe I was of your piano skills! You are one talented lady!

Happy Anniversary!! We met at MOPS where you were a mentor mom. I then had the priviledge of spending many hours working along side you helping you get those classes together! Loved our time together! Even let my kids help over the summers. Emily is the best counter around! 😉 Miss seeing you! Congrats on all your successes! Love you friend!

Hi Ruth! Happy Anniversary! We met at the women's center craft fair in Yorba Linda. I got to make a card using stamps and the big shot, and I turned to you and told you, "I think I love you!" Do you remember that? How funny..turns out I really do love you! Miss you lots! Hopefully I can get over there for something soon!!

Happy Anniversary, Ruth. I'm delighted that you've experienced so much success with Stampin' Up! You were made for it! Your designs always inspire! I'm grateful that we met though only online. I was immediately drawn to you and your heart. What a bubbly, joyful personality. May you have many more years of success! Well deserved!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! I attended a card making party at your home a few years ago and realized you were the owner of the Christian store I visited frequently, which unfortunately had closed. I love your cards, creativity, passion and products! Wishing you many more fabulous years!

Delorita, How fun to hear from you! That was a long time ago when you were in MOPS! I had just started as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and you loved stamping, and it was a perfect match! I loved being your Mentor Mom! I'm so glad we have stayed friends! HUGS.

Happy anniversary, Ruth! I worked with sue K. At kaiser, and for a short time I was a demonstrator (but I only demonstrated to myself!) and she was my upline. When sue retired and I stopped being a demonstrator, I needed someone to get my SU stuff from , so I turned to you! Turns out we are neighbors and it's been so convenient and fun to go to your events...

Happy Anniversary! I was with you at a card club at Katy's when you told us you were going to be a demonstrator! I know I met you at church... was it when you roped me in for Superbook Olympics? Long time ago!

My co-worker, Rebecca, invited me to her home for a card class she was having. This was about seven or so years ago. It was the first time I met you, Ruth. Little did I know how hooked I would become on Stampin' Up fun! It has been a way to relax and relieve stress from the work week. I have so many memories of fun classes, retreats, events, etc. with you. Congratulations on your Stampin' Up anniversary!

Hi Ruth, I met you at an Open House 3 or 4 years ago. A friend brought me as her guest and now I'm a regular. Congratulations on your anniversary with Stampin' Up!
