Tea Shoppe Event

What a fabulous time we had at our Tea Shoppe event on March 24! Forty women stamping, eating, laughing, and enjoying each other!  Did you miss it?  Here are some pictures that tell the story of a great day!

When everyone arrived, they got to pick their own teacup and saucer.  When they got to their table, there was a bag with their initial on it for them to put their projects in throughout the day. 

These ladies are having a great time working on their projects.

Where else can you make 6-8 projects, learn new ideas, relax and stamp in a lovely back yard atmosphere, meet up with friends, new and old, eat yummy goodies, order product while enjoying lots of  "specials",  and sign up for new classes?

Founder's Circle... Day Two!

The second day at Founder's Circle is so relaxing!  YEAH!  I slept in and came down to breakfast at 10:30! How fun is that!  After a leisurely breakfast I got to spend the day in the Gathering Place, finishing my swaps, and playing with my new stamp set!  Its always a great time getting to know other demonstrators from all over the country, and renewing friendships too!  My dear friends Patty Bennett (northern California), Dawn Oschefske (Minnesota), and Penny (Texas) are helping me with my swaps!

Here are my buddies Joey and Debbie, both from Florida!  Do you see the beautiful rub-ons on the windows?  Aren't they beautiful?  We demonstrators were wondering... is this a "hint" of something to come?

Aren't these flowers beautiful?  There were all over the room in the Gathering Place.  

 

Jill Olson, a demonstrator that lives in St George, shared her many quilts that were made with the Big Shot! I was amazed!  Aren't they wonderful?

After a fun day of relaxing in the Gathering Place, several of us went to dinner at a great little Mexican restaurant.  

 

That night, look what was on my pillow! The lovely book "The Secret Garden", signed by Shelli!

 

 

It was a wonderful day!

Easter Celebration

Easter is one of my favorite days of the year.  

 

After church, we usually have a large group here for a midday meal, with an Easter egg hunt and all kinds of fun.  Because of all that was happening in our home the months before Easter, with my dear husband's illness, we decided to gear down a little.  It was just us four--Mark, myself, our daughter Rachel, and our son Chad-- with our son Chad's girlfriend, Serena, all together.  We ate outside on the patio and it was wonderful.

 

    It was a completely different way to spend the day, but it was great for us to be all together, and healthy! 

Valentines Brunch Pictures

On February 7 my dear friend Jenni and I hosted a Valentine's Brunch.  This was an auction item through our fellowship group at church, and 5 women purchased the brunch, which included a Valentine Stamping Craft too.

    Here are some pictures from the brunch.  I was so pleased with how the table looked.  I used my silver tea/coffee service, purchased long stemmed roses from Trader Joe's (25 for $19.99),  used "oasis" floral blocks in the coffee, cream and sugar servers, and then placed the roses in them.  We put red netting on the table and lit small  candles on the silver tray.

    I made placecards with the Top Note die and the Big Shot, and used the Trio Flower punch to add little flowers.  I used the white Gel Pen to add centers to the little red flowers.

   After the meal we made a Valentine's treat with the Love You Much stamp set.  What a fun morning!
