Last Day of Founder's Circle!

The last day of Founder's Circle is another day to sleep in, meet with buddies, work on our make-n-takes, go shopping, or whatever you like! BUT! The evening is very special! 

We had no idea where we were going for dinner and the evening when we got on the bus.  We traveled to a lovely country club where we got together on the lawn for our group picture, and then were told to go up to the patio and be seated.  We were instructed to NOT TOUCH the little boxes

 that were at each place. 

(Notice the tablecloths.. they are a print from the "Cottage Wall" DSP!)

Then, we were told to open the boxes.

There were butterflies inside!  After a bit, they flew away.. so lovely.

I had such fun tablemates!

 

In the back:  Kelly, from Wisconsin; Deb, from Florida;

Deb, from Virginia; and seated:  Patty, from northern California;

myself, and Dawn, from Minnesota!  Such great friends!

 

Look at this great salad, on such a fabulous plate!

 

Patty loved her chicken dinner. 

 

AND!  YUMMY chocolate desserts!

It was a great evening and such a special way to end a lovely time with such great friends.

When we got back to our rooms.. look what was on our pillows!

Two butterfly charms.. one beautifully etched, and one engraved with 

"Founder's Circle '09".  So lovely.

Thanks for joining me on this trip.  I hope that some of what I have shared has conveyed what an amazing time it was for me.  

I never anticipated when I joined Stampin' Up! that I would meet and become friends with such amazing women.  I cherish these friendships!

BIG Swap!

Our big swap at Founder's Circle is such a fun night!  We were told to bring 125 cards to swap if we wanted to particpate.  THAT is alot of cards! See what that looks like?

Pretty fun, huh?

We went downstairs in our pajamas!  We gathered together, and then we got in line, up and down the halls of the hotel... past the Gathering Place, past the dining room, past the lobby, past the elevators... until we were all lined up!  Then, the first person exchanged with the next person, and so on, down the line!  SO MUCH FUN!  Just like trick or treat!

Shelli and I were next to each other.. she is such a sweetheart!

 

When we were all done swapping, we went back into the Gathering Place for our "business swap".. sharing ideas that have helped us build our businesses.  We were given a beautiful book to write down the ideas we heard shared.

There were lots of goodies to eat.. including fresh fruit, fruity drinks, and gorgeous cupcakes with lovely butterflies on top!
 

After an evening of swapping, and sharing, and EATING.. we went back to our rooms.. to find this incredible gift on our pillows!

 

YEP!  Rain boots! Are they the cutest EVER??  And the right size!  Oh my goodness!  SO MUCH FUN!
